Well, Siren is completed. It did seem to wrap itself up in the end. In the most confusing way possible mind...

Well onto other things. Its been a while since I posted and thats because work has started to get the better of me. Also I completed Heavenly Sword. That was good fun, and as well as this I have started Assassin's Creed.

New in my life as well is a facebook game that is very addictive called "Restaurant City". It has the problem of being stupidly addictive, if that can be classed as a problem. Apart from this I suggest that everyone gives it a look in!

Still playing Siren Blood Curse. It is getting good at this point, although the same monster keeps appearing! That is one of the major problems with SBC, right quantity of monsters, not enough variety. Its like it is half of left for dead's good idea of hoards. But at least LFD had special zombies! In SBC you get the normal Shibito, spider shibito, and a maggot shibito. I know that the normal shibito can also wield almost any weapon but this does not make up for the fact that there are no different types of normal shibito. Halfway through the last chapter at the moment. It hasn't wrapped up at all and I only have 1 mission yet. Worried much?

New Arrivals

Yeah so I bought a Playstation 3 in January and ever since then not only have I been trying to keep up with the neverending tides of games coming out for it that I more want than need, I been relentlessly buying games that are from the past! I would consider myself a gamer of sorts, but only in the sense that I fit it in around university, part-time work, volutory work, and other things.

Recently I have been playing Siren Blood Curse, I was playing Heavenly Sword but got stuck on the final boss, and I have found it to be an intriging experience into the world of Japanese style horror that people have been going on about for years. I've never had much of an experience with survival horror games for the following reasons:

1. Money - Born in an age where all of the survival horror games were out when I was not nearly old enough to get a job to pay for them, which brings me to the next point.

2. Age - Even if I was able to somehow magically get the money to get survival horror games such as Silent Hill or even Siren 1, I wouldn't be old enough to buy them unless I tried the old tactic of buying a longcoat and standing on one of my friend's shoulders! (Note to self: tell children of this tactic)

But I digress, back to Siren Blood Curse. I won't try to give anything away if you were thinking about trying it out, but there is a flurry of different characters which have different levels of unlikeableness. I refuse to use the term likeableness to describe them as most of them are unlikeable, and if you are as sadistic as me you will take pleasure in watching them die. Whoops...

The "Sightjacking" in SBC is an interesting feature which allows you to look through the eyes of allies and enemies while you try to either find or avoid them. It is a bit rough around the edges but i believe that with more work, if they do make a third game in the series, I'm sure that this feature will make the series for many people.

Overall so far I am enjoying SBC, well up to chapter 9 anyway, and as for the ending I will have to see how the characters fare.

Right, here we go. The start of a new blog that will set sail on the most ridiculously overpopulated blogging site in the world. I wonder if anyone will actually be interested by this enough to follow it... Hm.. well will have to wait and see. First I must decide what this blog will actually do. Do not fret though! I am not just another sheep following the crowd to the grassy field. I am the kind of sheep who walks across the field filled with death and destruction to at least venture out for something different.
